Portland City Government Changes Forum

Join us to hear Portland City Transition staff and a member of the Portland Government Transition Advisory Committee discuss upcoming changes in our city government. Registration is required.

Description:

In 2022, Portland voters approved a new form of government. This change, effective in 2025, will mean that instead of having a Mayor and four City Councilors running City government, we will elect 12 City Councilors and a Mayor. We will be voting on City Councilors and a Mayor in November 2024 - now is the time to learn about how the new system will operate.
